We are pleased to announce that the ‘Congolese Agency for Standardization and Quality’ (ACONOQ) has appointed Bureau Veritas GSIT as the certification agency. Bureau Veritas will inspect products exported to Congo (Brazzaville) as part of the Verification of Conformity program (PCEC).
The PCEC program aims to ensure that products imported into the Republic of Congo (Brazzaville) meet established standards before shipment. The program also helps protect Congolese consumers and the environment from unsafe and substandard products. At the same time, the program will contribute to the promotion of transparent and fair trade in the country.
All products are covered by the program, except for a limited list of exempt goods (to be mentioned later). The program start date is May 1, 2022.
