SCIOS inspections for technical installations
Owners and operators of combustion and electrical installations must comply with requirements relating to safety, the environment and energy efficiency. Since 1 January 2024, relevant rules for combustion plants have been included in legislation under the Dutch Environment and Planning Act, including the Besluit activiteiten leefomgeving (Bal) and the Besluit bouwwerken leefomgeving (Bbl). The requirements that apply depend on the installation and its use.
