Bureau Veritas inspects your pressure equipment as an NL-CBI

Is your pressure equipment in service and due for reinspection, or is existing equipment being put into service in the Netherlands for the first time? Bureau Veritas Industrial Services carries out periodic reinspections and entry inspections as a designated Dutch conformity assessment body (NL-CBI) within the applicable scope.

Following successful completion, you receive the declaration applicable to the inspection performed. Our specialists agree the required documentation, inspections and any tests with you in advance.

Which inspection do you need?

Within the applicable scope, Bureau Veritas can perform assessments including:

• periodic reinspection of designated pressure equipment;
• entry inspection;
• assessment of repairs and modifications;
• extension or adjustment of inspection intervals, where applicable.

Following successful completion, we issue the relevant declaration or assessment.

What do we assess during the inspection?

The precise work depends on the type of pressure equipment and the assessment requested. Bureau Veritas assesses the relevant documentation, the condition and safe operation of the equipment and the applicable statutory requirements. Any findings are recorded clearly, so you know which next steps are required.

Your responsibility as the user

The user is responsible for submitting designated pressure equipment for reinspection on time. Once the validity period has expired, the equipment must be reassessed by a designated body before the period of use can be extended.
